A Post Where I Tell You I Have a Boyfriend

Alright, already.

That’s what I’ve been hearing the past few days, along with, “Am I supposed to just keep reading your old posts?” and “I need my Al fix! Get over this dumb bloggers block!”

To those remarks I have to say: I can’t crank them out on demand. Robots ain’t runnin’ this show if you know what I mean.

I’ve figured out that I’m not a This Was My Daily Activities blog. Those are great blogs, don’t get me wrong. But I’m a blogger because I like to write, and I like to write whatever is running through my mind or bearing down on my heart.

Or if I’m feeling extra witty and/or sarcastic. Yes, those are the times I like to blog.

And you say, “That’s great Al but I just want to read SOMETHING! What’s up?”

To which I have to say: Someone pinch me, I have a boyfriend.

Did I forget to tell you that?

What had happened was (that’s a phrase Porky and I say a lot) girl meets boy, girl likes boy, boy puts them in the friend-zone, girl continues to like boy, boy begins to like girl, boy tries to kiss girl on her couch, boy professes his like for girl, girl holds boys hand, boy takes girl on date, and a short DTR later they are dating.

I think that’s the cutest story ever. Besides me turning down that kiss, but we’ve made up for it so I’m not even going to finish that sentence because is that too much information?

Moving on--he’s really amazing (and he didn’t even tell me to say that).

He has a few flaws, though. He doesn’t like the live Coldplay album, he doesn’t like watermelon Sour Patch Kids, and he get’s bored during Pretty Little Liars, but I can look past all of that.

I still need that pinch.

I amal and I pronounce ‘pinch’ like ‘peench’ but you didn’t come here to judge me.

p.s.
