There is something about getting a postcard from Italy that makes you feel super cool.
That’s right, I got a postcard from Italy. It only took a literal month to get here, but it came! Finally!
And it says neat things like, “Printed in Italy by ATS Italia Editrice.” Whatever that means.
It also has a handwritten note from my Bretty, which says:
“Dixon! When I saw this post card, I knew I should send it to you because it just looks like you…I keep wanting to buy you things because tons of stuff remind me of you! I love reading your tweets and blog—makes me feel like I’m right there with you! I can’t wait to be at Harding with you and see your beautiful face! Wow, that was cheesy. Love you!!”
To that I have to say:
Bretty! This postcard does look like me. I think I’m the person walking over there. Anyway, buy me as much as you want! I love that you read my blog. And my tweets. Even though most of those are about me hiding out in the bathroom at Sonic. I can’t wait to drink Diet Dr.Pepper with you. I love you!
p.s. Your postcard is cool because it has Italian stamps and says Basilica, but you can’t beat the ‘I heart Arkansas’ stamp.
i'm so glad you love it!! and i did buy you many things! and i can't wait to see you! and i love this blog post!!
