I am a Midweek Confessions virgin but, believe me, I am an interesting human being with much to confess, like, on the daily.
-I really like using the word virgin in every day sentences. Makes people super uncomfortable.
-4th of July make-out boy (discussed in post below) followed me on Instagram and so naturally, I deleted every kind-of-bad/embarrassing picture of me from the past two years. Like me for me? Whaaaat? Some stuff should just stay dis-closed.
-I’m a sucker for Pinterest at home remedies, so I tried the whole gargle with hydrogen peroxide to whiten my teeth thing. It foamed up so much that I looked like a freakin’ dog with rabies. Then I barfed in the sink. Kidding about the barf. Kind of.
-Until last night, I hadn’t done laundry in a month. I just kept going to Target and buying underwear. Whoops?
-I watch 3+ hours of Parks & Rec every night. Sorry not sorry!
-On a scale of 1-10, how rude is it to not attend a wedding that you RSVP’d for??????? Asking for a friend.
-I am so ready for my summer internship to be over. There, I said it. I’m awful, sue me.
-I find myself reading only mommy blogs. Which like, I love you moms out there. But I have a hard time relating. If you’re in college, comment and let me know that you read here so that I can follow you. Before this baby fever gets outta control.
Ha. I love reading mommy blogs too, but sadly, as a nanny I can occasionally relate. But don't worry, I am still college aged and rarely discuss anything child related on my blog. =) Love your humor.

ReplyDeleteIt may sound (kind of) creepy but I've been following your blog for some time now... and commented a few times. And I think we have so many things in common. Many times I found myself nodding while reading your post because what you are saying is what have happened to me recently...
Things in common, you ask? Not doing any laundry until I have no more underwear! I haven't got to the point of buying new underwear... but it's not a bad option for when I'm lazy (like during Summer!). Also, I read too many mommy blogs! And that has made my baby fever grow too much... That's not good!!!

ReplyDeleteAs far as the RSVP goes, I think most people expect to have some yes's not show up. Actually they may hope it happens to help with the numbers!! :)

Asking for a friend." <-- a 10! you plan for a wedding and each plate costs a certain $ amount...you've even cut people off a list to make room for the A-listers and when that person doesn't show up, it's annoying as hell.
