Only Read This If You Don’t Believe I’m Socially Awkward and Weird

Yikes, the month of April came and went in a jiffy, am I right?! Also, I blogged 5/30 days, so like, where’s my celebratory cookie cake? I’m getting awkward, so before you click that little red box in the right corner, here are my April happenings:

1. Paleo, dieting, running

So uh, I had this big long post written out about how I was starting the Paleo lifestyle, and like most of my past lifestyle changes, I had B-I-G plans for this one. I was going to stick to it, so help me. But right before I pushed the Publish button on the post I thought, “Maybe give it a week. Then I’ll really have something to write about.” Anyway, I lasted a whole day and a half. I’m nothing if not committed. I have, however, started running again. For some reason, running is the only thing I maintain. I love that runners high. I’m thinking another half marathon is in my future!

2. Boyz

Ugh, so I have this like, monster crush on this really cute guy at school. That sentence made me feel 15. To any new readers out there, 1) HOLLA! and 2) I’m 22. Anyway, I get so flustered anytime he is around. Like, I look down at the ground and avoid eye contact at.all.costs. WHY AM I LIKE THIS? I did this with my last (well, one & only) boyfriend. One of these days I will become socially normal, and if not, I’ll die single.

3.  Skool

I’m over it, y’all. I’m supposed to be graduating in 11 days but since I am a semester behind schedule, I won’t graduate until this December. That doesn’t stop the senioritis, though. I have it baaaad. I’m done. I’m just so done. Not with the social aspect of school because you and I both know that I love that a lot, but this sitting-in-class-research-papers-group-projects-exams aspect of school? DUNZO.

4. Ice cream

The new peanut butter & jelly milkshake from Sonic is like, gu-oood. Thus why I am running miles daily.

5. UGH THAT BOY. I CAN SEE HIM RIGHT NOW. I’M LOOKING AWAY. WHY?!

Godspeed.

  1. I always love reading your posts! I'm proud of you for giving the Paleo diet a good try! I've been giving it a try for almost two years now and it is the hardest thing I've ever done...let's just say there are a lot of tears when I see a big plate of pasta that I can't have :)
