How to Catch the Bouquet At All of Those Dang Summer Weddings

wedding2

Catching the bouquet, a how-to:

1. Stand in the middle of the crowd, three rows/people deep

2. Elbows out, chin up

3. Keep eyes on target (bouquet)

4. Lunge and elbow (if needed)

5. Gracefully stand back up and say something along the lines of, “Oh my goodness! I can’t believe it—I never thought I’d catch it!”

I’m not saying this works every time, but like, I’ve had some success.

  3. My bouquet catching technique is for those low ceiling banquet halls with a right handed bride...very front far right. Bride tosses it up and thinks she is shipping it back to her girls, reality is that she has nailed it into the ceiling dropping it right into the girl in the front far right. I have caught 6+ bouquets in my 21 years of life, not including the one I could have had if I hadn't decided the pregnant girl beside me should probably have it. =)
