Monday Misc. on Wednesday

I. It's pledge week (induction, rush) here at HU. I love being on the other side of it this year. And I won't lie, I love the power too. That's Miss Autumn to you. (Sorry, pledges, that we made you slip-and-slide in sardines, ketchup and mustard.)

II. I skipped chapel Monday so I could guy buy the new Taylor Swift CD. Terrible? Yes. Dedicated fan? Yes.

III. I'm having to Google the roman numerals for these numbers because I never learned them in my elementary days.

IV. Sorry this blog has been quiet this week. Pledge week is sucking all of my time and energy! I promise to share funny stories (and pictures) when I have extra time!

This is your brain on: finals + God + guys.

Oh boy, my cup is overflowing.
And by cup, I mean brain.
I have had so much on my mind the past few days.

1. Finals

I have been a
paper writing-note-card-making-study-guide-filling-out-machine.
Ok, so I haven't actually done any of those yet (except for the papers)
Which is why I am stressed.
I know what I will be doing this weekend.

2. God

I started reading a book--Captivated. It is so good! It's about unveiling the mystery of a woman's soul. What it means to be a woman bearing the image of God. True to it's title, I am very captivated. I pray that my cup overflows His love and that I can truly learn what it means to be a woman of God.

3. Guys

Well, not guys. A guy. He constantly invades my mind whenever I need to get something done. Or focus. Or while I'm in class. Sometimes when I sleep. Why? I don't know. It's not like he is some amazing guy. I take that back. He is. To me. Not to everyone. This is the wishy-washy feelings I've had towards him for several months. None of it matters anyways.
Girl likes boy, boy forgets girl exists, boy has a girlfriend, girl sits in her dorm room & cries.
